In the sea of sand lives freedom.
A black coat of rainbows,
Earned by walking the fires of Humanity.
Holding his position of honesty.
Galloping his truth.
His call reaches the edges of our insanity.
What becomes of us as we stretch onward into the abliss?
What gives us the courage to move beyond the rippling horizon?
Knowing a soft wind could change our direction and erase our history at any moment.
This beautiful Stallion whose dance appears effortlessly:
Zigzags and leaps of boundless energy.
Changing sands into water and water into sands.
Why have you chosen me?
I am certainly no match for such strength and grace!
I am weak from all life's struggles.
But just the same I learn what I am made of
And inspire others to feel his mane.
He standing so tall I struggle to wrap myself around him.
Aware of my insecurities we start off slowly.
Faced forward.
Never looking back.
Soon we take flight and leave the unnecessary behind to make room for miracles.
My Metis drum beating in time with this Arabian breed.
I am transformed with the purest of hearts.
Learning that purity is not the blood that runs within the veins,
But the faith within the soul.

We were so very fortunate to have among us at the workshop a Horse Whisperer. Gracing us with a Horse Blessing, she brought each of us our own Horse Spirit. My heart opened wide and I felt its strength, freedom and joy. I had waited for this moment for many years. Beginning three years ago with a dream of riding a White Colt and then a vision of a White Horse passing through a ring of fire. Also, last year with a Warrior Blessing I seen this beautiful Black Stallion come out of my heart chakra. Finally, the Horse Blessing and I am filled with its power. I am so very humbled by the gifts of another!

I can be everything and nothing,
It is standards that draw the line.
If you could hear my heart it would tell you;
I belong, I belong, I belong.
I belong to the Earth and the Sky.
I belong to the sound of silence and the song of life.
I hold that which is all and all can be nothing.
You say wont, dont, cant.
My heart says Love, Trust, Just Be.
It is a much higher power that has brought me here.
Even I dont understand.
I am happy just to watch.
I learn best that way.
If one should appeal to me,
And I looked the other way...
To comfort the voices within the minds.
What would my Creator say,
Who has spent a great amount of time preparing me for this day?
Aguenus
Life has brought me full circle. I am faced with the same challenges I lived a year ago. The whispers of disapproval among the community I belong to for being who I am. A year ago I stayed in silence to please all and allowed myself to be disrespected. Today, I choose to stand tall and express my truth to the leaders of the community. I was received because I acted and spoke from the HEART and not the mind. I read them this poem. I healed from the past and now can embrace all with an open heart.
It is you my eyes now see.
The rushing waters.
The open plains.
What makes your heart call to me?
Do you even know my name?
The steps I must take.
The work I must do.
The life I must lead.
It is no more or no less than others.
Yet I feel compelled to tell you.
I am a Star Gazer.
I am a Fire Keeper.
I am a Rain Maker.
I will reach the highest star and carry it across the valleys.
There is only one mountain high enough
And it must be climbed with no harness or safety net.
Helped by others who have gone before.
Supported by many who believe.
I will reach up, up and up.
Pulling all that is possible within.
Purifying myself and giving birth to a new world to share among Humanity.
And as a child long hoped for,
I will hold this eternity close to my heart.
A lantern of light.
Truth onto itself

Isn't life ironic? When you are so busy and there is no space in your life for another event....that is when he shows up.
Look beyond the physical.
See the inspiration, desire and ability of becoming.
You are an artist- Yes?
These are your paints-
the life before you.
Now create!
Create a Master Piece,
With every step,
With every breath,
With every thought,
With all your heart!
Create.
Aguenus January, 2011
Busy is the heart that lives a life of passion. I find myself filled with a world wind of events and I asked myself why so much? The response was a clear understanding that I am an artist and life is my painting. Why not create a master piece? Every challenge is an opportunity to master myself. So with joy I say how grateful am I to seek me in all that I see!
There have been those that have missed another for many reasons I am told:
Their laughter,
Their mind,
Their touch,
Their beauty,
Their heart.
I miss you for your songs.
The sweet melody that rushes the ocean within.
I am rediscovered to every word that flows from your lips,
And washes away the hurt.
Like the moon,
You stretch me across the sands and touch my soul with your gentle light.
I sparkle beneath your grandeur,
Reflecting this beauty in Holy silence.
A still mind.
A healed heart.
I am the trees that sway to your singing winds.
I am the sea shells that recalls every note of your soul.
I am the fish that synchronizes to the currents of your life.
Your songs move me beyond my Island and into the depths of your Love.
I miss you.

When distance and time moves between two people inlove, it is then we learn the blessings of another. I am truly blessed.
In the winds of tomorrow,
I will sail today.
Free at last,
To be the Captain of my Ship,
The Master of my Mind,
The Teacher in my Heart.
I could no longer crash against the stones of regret,
Or take refuge in a harbour created by others.
It was time to take thee sword
And remove the ropes that bind me.
A direct blow.
Learned by the greatest of fisherman,
A death knott I am sure.
We must all unlearn.
I now sail a sea of many colors from the life that it does hold.
My sails, although simple, makes all watch with delight.
For freedom has many shapes.
Because of this I find within myself,
It is not being the fastest sailor that matters,
But sailing in the vastness of my soul.
Aguenus, New Zealand Feb 2011
I found freedom in the hearts of the Moari people of New Zealand. Their open arms and breath of life moved me to further explore the depths of myself. They are the great sailors of this world. They sail together with dignity, honor, love and respect. Learning their traditional ways gave me a stronger connection to all life. I am forever changed and forever grateful.

It is in the first light after darkness,
You see the Wisdom of your Soul.
The stained hands of sacrifice
Are renewed upon the Awakening.
Clear thoughts have stilled the waters,
Washing away the illness that plagued your
lonely days.
It does not matter who has plunged the swords
upon thy chest.
The heart is held captive no matter the
revenge.
Walking among the Dead
And pretending to be Alive,
Is the curse.
Each act must come to an end.
A Trinity of deception,
You are all three:
Victim, Villain and Hero.
Finding the strength to free your life is in
knowing your role.
Having faith that all will mend,
Allows for the curtain to fall.
All parts will play themselves out:
Betrayal into Forgiveness,
Hurt into Love.
Death into Life.
Every drop of blood given, becomes a rose of
gratitude to be held close and cherished.
Aguenus,

Life is a Play and mastering your part is knowing that you are the script writer, stage, actors, lights and music. What play are you acting in? I had lived a play of tragedy for far too long. It was when I realized that this was my Play, the curtain began to fall. Looking back I do not regret a single moment. It is human nature to identify with tragedies. However, it is time to try something new. A Comedy? A Drama? An Action? A Love Story? Yes a Love Story!
Silence speaks many languages.
Because of this nothing said can be more understood, than the rush of words.
Each heart beat welcomes this space and fears the quickening of rhythms.
For what grace is there in the dance when your timing is off?
As stillness wraps its dying arms around my soul,
I still cannot help but wonder;
Why you hold your breath for so long?
A pause is only a pause;
But a pulse is so much more.
Your truth deserves acknowledgement,
No matter the consequence.
Panic is the heart that suffocates!
A deep breath of relief will feed the reason to the voice:
Connecting the mind to the heart with words of Honesty.
Aguenus, April 2011
Silence is the best teacher. It allows us to go within and find salvation. We can choose fear and weakness or we can accept honesty and strength. The truth is always revealed in silence for truth brings peace and fear brings voices.
A love of innocence, simplicity and honesty.
These are our sails.
And the winds of courage blow us along towards the brightest of stars.
This freedom is where love belongs-
Within oneself and through one another to life.
Caressed by the seas of infinity,
We stay present to each others ecstasy, fulfillment and connection.
Mind to mind,
Heart to heart,
Hand in hand.
You breath in as I breath out.
Bringing harmony of our spirit to the body of our souls.
A sacred dance.
An ancient song.
A Divine love
Aguenus
Divine Love flows in and out...like the breath of life. We are lost without it and found within it. It does not need to be protected, but will protect you from the division of yourself. It does not need to be defined, but will break all barriers of limitations within yourself. It does not need to be sought, but will seek those that see this Love in another.
It was time for me to come home.
Although I was never walking away,
Every step became an illusion.
Like footsteps in the sand and the wind at my back,
Time is erased.
The valleys became hills,
The hills became a sunset,
And I was there.
I was there when the sand softened my fall.
I was there when my breath rose to meet the moon.
I was there when each star filled my eyes with light.
And although the night had it darkness and its silence,
It kept me.
It held me,
For it knew me.
And I was moved towards the Dawn.
A path of red velvet reaching out towards me.
Ribbons on Ruby Slippers.
I came home.
Aguenus, Jan 2012
How does one know who they are if they don't learn what they are made of? Every dark night has its dawn.
I inquired about you yesterday...
Who believes in you and who doesn't.
This is what they said.
"A man is measured by the very stone he throws or does not throw.
Are you catching?
Or are you letting go?
Maybe you are observing?
Which is neither yes or no.
It is much less.
So if you speak with your eyes
And listen with your mouth,
Life is the very obstacle you place above you.
Which is the same as within you."
Aguenus, April 2012
To find faults in another...what size of stones do you throw? We all have done this. Or maybe you have let go of those stones to hug another? We all could use a hug.
The space between us is not time.
It is not thoughts or words or actions.
It is Destiny.
For a path to be made that brings two worlds apart-together again,
Both must climb the same Mountain.
Each on either side a journey becomes a shared creation that removes differences.
Every step feeding the longing to know a life beyond the Valley.
Every struggle strengthening their bond.
Every reach a new frontier.
Conquering the doubts, confusions and separateness,
They find themselves above the clouds.
Reunited and embraced as one,
They can look up and feel at home.
What is born between them,
Flows to the worlds they once knew.
As above,
So below.
As within,
So without.
Aguenus, May 9, 2012
When we make mistakes on an individual level we affect the world globally. And Humanity as a whole affect us individually. An Universe within an Universe, this is who we are. When we heal the mistakes of our past by choosing new actions in the present with those we love, we heal all of mankind at the same time. Time and time again we are given another chance to climb our mountain...whether we slipped off, fell off or jumped off.
Maybe it was too much too soon
Or too little too late,
For I could not fullfill all the promises of a setting sun.
I could not look over the edge of that cliff and press against the awakening winds.
I turned and clinged to what has always been...
A beatened past.
A broken watch.
A tired life.
And as you looked back with so much to look forward to,
Our eyes spoke.
Then you simply turned around and stepped out into that trust,
And made the stars your home.
As time collapsed around my anchored soul,
I too discovered the unknown.
For every moment in between,
I became what could of been.
And my mind knew no difference,
Even though my heart became empty.
And each time a star should fall,
I reach out a little more to catch it.
Aguenus, April 2012
I am letting this one go now. The wishing, wanting and hoping. Instead I choose freedom to jump. Jump high! Jump into the light of God's will...that is not based on the past or future but the exploration of one's soul.
You could remove ten thousand stones from the Path of Faith.
Think not it couldn't be done, for you already have.
And for each hollow bowl where once a stone did Ly,
Told a story!
Like heavenly footsteps that caressed the rains from the sky,
It held the stars and reflected back to you your wealth.
Giving hope to the blind,
Quenching the thirst of every seeker,
And washing the sins of the disbelievers.
We can never remember one life from the next,
Yet connected we are.
And the stones that you held, built a staircase to the sky.
Not one dropped!
This is the path that wraps around your pillar of Wisdom,
Spiralling continually to the mystery of your soul.
Take another step into this place of silence
And behold what you already know.
Aguenus, April 2012
Why dont you come with me on this path of faith?
Pity will not be sung when one falls here.
And what awaits will not be denied or deceived or defined.
It cannot be asked for, analyzed or answered.
It shall be lived!
Every breath and every step is a testimony of your existence;
A living document of flesh and truth.
The salt of the Earth is your story and a story you shall be!
It is more real than a sunset or the touch of your hand,
Yet it is nothing without these things.
Will you come?
